Trinity College London Preparation

Build the skill. Work towards recognition.

From a first group performance to advanced public speaking, we help learners prepare with purpose. Choose a pathway in spoken English, communication or performance, with structured coaching towards the selected Trinity examination or award.

What is Trinity College London?

Trinity College London is an international examinations board that has assessed communication and performance skills since 1938. Its qualifications are regulated in the UK by Ofqual, SQA and Qualifications Wales, listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, and aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

For our students, that matters for one simple reason. A Trinity certificate is external, independent proof of what a young person can actually do when they open their mouth — recognised by schools, universities and employers internationally.

Why We Prepare Students for Trinity?

  • It assesses real communication.

Built around genuine interaction with a trained examiner, not memorised scripts.

  • It rewards the skills we teach.

Clarity, fluency, listening, presence and the confidence to discuss a topic properly.

  • It gives students something permanent.

A qualification on a recognised framework, stating the CEFR level achieved.

  • Every learner has an entry point.

Grades run from complete beginner to full mastery, with no requirement to start at Grade 1.

  • It creates a deadline that works.

A fixed examination date sharpens preparation in a way no internal target does.

  • It makes the middle visible.

An external certificate is recognition a capable student receives on merit, not by selection.

How Our Preparation Works

Which Grade Should My Child Take?

There is no single answer, and no requirement to start at Grade 1. Trinity is designed so a student can enter at the level that genuinely matches their ability. We will assess your child and recommend a grade that is a real stretch — because a comfortable pass teaches less than a hard-won one.
